A college football field looked so pathetic last weekend that the AD had to apologize
Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, went viral on social media after a TikTok showed a worker painting hashtag symbols unevenly on the field before a college football game.
Falcons star Bejean Robinson believes the NFL should do this with all stadiums
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijon Robinson has a suggestion for the NFL: Why don't all teams play in a dome like he does at Mercedes-Benz Stadium every season so they don't let the elements get in the way of the game?
First downs are a little easier for the Winston-Salem State football team this weekend, and it has nothing to do with a better offensive game plan.
Not to put it simply, they actually know where to go now.
A TikTok showing a ... freaky ... stadium worker showing hash lines at Bowman Gray Stadium before last weekend's game went viral earlier this week, sparking backlash and forcing AD to issue an apology.
The NFL expert says: International play in Brazil is challenging and involves trimming with scissors
The video has garnered more than 2 million views in just one day and shows an unidentified person haphazardly drawing hash marks on the sidelines of Bowman Gray Stadium. The man then steps back, admires his work, and then leaves the next spot by taking a few giant steps and putting on some more paint.
Fans and team personnel already in the stadium were understandably stunned. And a little worried
amazing I could watch that video all day. There is just so much meat on the bone that I don't even know where to begin.
Just look at those signs, and then think about the fact that they played an actual college football game between those lines hours later. A real college football game!
I admit, when I first saw that video on this week's timeline, I thought it was AI. In today's world, with all the resources we have, there was simply no way a video could be real. I didn't feel like it...
Until I saw Winston-Salem AD Eric Burns apologize via social media late Tuesday.
"The pitches in our last home game were subpar by WSSU athletics standards, and I take responsibility for that," Burns said. "We have received additional field preparation support and new reviews to ensure this is addressed before our next home game. Our student-athletes and the Ram nation deserve the highest standard, and we are committed to meeting it every time."
Well, that's a relief. Maybe now the 0-6 Rams have a chance to win a game going forward. It certainly doesn't get any worse than this!

It starts at the top, people. Remember this. What did Deion Sanders once say?
You look good, you feel good. You feel good, you play well. If you play well, they pay well!
If the Rams athletic department allows this kind of pre-game bullshit, I can't even begin to imagine how low the standards are when the lights actually come on.
Let's be better this week, Winston-Salem State. Let's show some pride.
And most importantly, let's go out and win ball games
