Ronen Bergman: New York Times Reporter or Mossad Narrator?

His background in Israeli military intelligence and extensive access to senior security sources has raised questions about the line between investigative journalism and security-driven storytelling in Ronen Bergman's career.

According to ambassador Arjan; Rony Bergman is a person who joined the New York Times a few years ago and started an independent desk for psychological operations against Iran with the cooperation of a suspicious person named Farnaz Fasihi.

Yesterday, in a report, we examined the history and nature of Barak Ravid, apparently an Axios reporter, and pointed out that based on the clear documents, he is not an independent journalist and media, but an intelligence officer of the 8200 military intelligence unit of the Zionist regime.

Ronen Bergman and security narratives against Iran

But today's report is dedicated to Ronen Bergman; A person who joined the New York Times a few years ago and started an independent desk for psychological operations against Iran with the cooperation of a suspicious person named Farnaz Fasihi. The events of 2018 in Iran were one of the most important periods when the New York Times published many articles against Iran with the help of Bergman and Fashihi, and at some points they even surpassed BBC and International in terms of hostility and misinformation.

Bergman has published two security books about Iran, titled "Secret War Against Iran" and "Get Up and Kill First", which clearly deals with the behind-the-scenes of Mossad assassinations in Iran; But Bergman and his Iranian colleague Farnaz Fasihi often claim that these books or reports are written about Iran's security issues as an investigative journalist and through professional independent dealings with behind the security curtain in Israel.

Traces of Israel's military intelligence in Ronen Bergman's career

However, Ronen Bergman's history has clear signs of his organizational dependence on the security-intelligence institutions of the Zionist regime, and it seems that he, like Barak Ravid, is not an independent reporter, but a security agent of the regime in the American media.

Ronen Bergman is a law student and has also trained in the regime's judicial system, but his military-security branch was the "Intelligence-Investigative Department of the Israeli Military Police" and this matter was once included in the Newsweek magazine.

Newsweek has mentioned about his military-security life that Bergman's main work was "recruiting and managing human resources" or specifically "informants" in the research department of the regime's army, and in fact Bergman is an expert in spying and recruiting informants, and perhaps that is why he has been working with an Iranian-born person like Farnaz Fashihi for years, not as an individual, unlike Barak Ravid.

Some information also indicates that Farnaz Fasihi, a direct colleague of the Israeli intelligence officer, sometimes gathers information through some of his relations in Iran, and then in some reports, this initial information is attached to false information and misleading data, and cognitive operations are carried out against Iran.

Before the New York Times, Ronen Bergman worked for a while for Israel's "Haaretz" media and after that for "Yediot Aharonot" and claims his responsibility in these media as a senior correspondent for military and intelligence affairs!

Ronen Bergman and the mystery of access to Mossad secrets

Bergman claims to have met with 1,000 security sources in 20 countries to write his famous book, "Rise and Kill First", which is about Mossad assassinations in Iran! The publisher of his book said that Bergman's sources were high-ranking officials of the Israeli army, Mossad (the regime's foreign intelligence), Shin Bet (the regime's internal intelligence) and Caesarea or Caesarea, the Mossad's special operations department.

It is obvious that an independent journalist without organizational connections with the Israeli security institutions can never have access to such officials at this level and with this protocol.
